Indian Navy vacancy 2021: Huge opportunity for 12th pass students, 2,500 posts to be filled up, Check details

In what can be considered as a huge opportunity for the 12th pass students, the Indian Navy has invited online applications from them for enrolment as sailors of Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) for 500 and 2000 vacancies in the February 2022 batch.

The vacancies will be earmarked in a state-wise manner. For the total of 2500 vacancies, approximately 10,000 candidates will be called for written examination and Physical Fitness Test (PFT).

The cut-off marks for appearing in the written examination may vary from state to state.

Indian Navy vacancy 2021 Educational Qualification

• Candidates who are applying for the Artificer Apprentice (AA) posts must have passed 12th with 60% or more marks in aggregate with Maths & Physics and have Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science.
• Likewise, the applicants of Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) posts must have qualified 12th examination with Maths & Physics and have Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science.

Indian Navy vacancy 2021 age limit

• The applicants of both Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) posts should be born between Feb 1, 2002 and July 31, 2005.

Indian Navy vacancy 2021 salary

The selected candidates will get a stipend of Rs 14,600 per month during the initial training period. After completion of initial training, they will be placed in Level 3 of Defence Pay i.e. Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 per month.
