Cuttack: A mock drill was conducted at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack with an aim to successfully host the T-20 International between India Vs South Africa and for the safety of spectators in case of any exigency.
The Fire Mock Drill, Mob Management – Law & Order, Building Collapse, Identifying Suspicious Objects and Terrorism Act were part of the mock drill conducted earlier today.
The groups involved in the successful conduct of this mock drill were ODRAF, SOG, Special Tactical Unit, Bomb Disposal Squad, K9, District Traffic, G4S, Fire Services & AMRI Medical Team.
The event was initiated in the presence of Soumendra Kumar Priyadarshi, Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack and was taken forward by Pinak Mishra, DCP-Cuttack, accompanied by and other senior police officers.
