India Vs South Africa at Barabati: Counter ticket sales to begin today

Cuttack: The sale of offline tickets of India-South Africa T20 Match at Barabati Stadium, that has been scheduled to be held on June 12, in Cuttack will begin from today.

Reportedly, around 12,000 tickets will be sold for the next two days from 9 am to 6 pm or till the number of tickets get finished for the particular date. The tickets will be sold at nine counters. For the first time two special counters have been arranged for ladies.

Out of the 12,000 tickets, as many as 1,362 are expensive tickets while 10, 731 are gallery tickets. An individual can avail only two tickets. The identity proof of the individual has been made mandatory.

Commissionerate Police have made elaborate security arrangements in view of the crowd outside the counters.

The people have made long queues outside the counters since late last night for to get their offline tickets.

Earlier on Monday, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik purchased the 1st ticket for the upcoming T 20 international match between India and South Africa at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on 12th June.

The sale of offline tickets of India-South Africa T20 Match at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack to the affiliated units/office bearers/BCCI Affiliated Units to began from June 7. Cuttack Mayor Subhash Singh bought the first ticket on the same day.
