Ind Vs SA T20: Spectators not allowed to carry food, drinks to Barabati Stadium

Bhubaneswar: The cricket teams of India and South Africa have reached at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack for the net practice. The T20 match has been scheduled to be held on June 12.

Reportedly, the practice session will be held for a period of three long hours. The players of two teams were taken to the stadium amid strict security.

It has been learnt that, the spectators have been barred from carrying food items and water bottles  as Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) has arranged vendors for the same inside the stadium. They cannot even carry any such object that can be thrown inside the stadium, such as, helmet, lighter, knife, matchbox, lathi,  etc.

Cuttack DCP Pinak Mishra has asked the spectators to carry cash along with them to buy the eateries inside stadium. All the bags will be examined during entry check points.

The gates of Barabati Stadium will open at 3 pm tomorrow. The spectators can find their entry gate numbers mentioned on their tickets. They cannot carry any electric device except for mobiles during their entry.

‘No Mask No Entry’ rule will be strictly followed during the match, informed Cuttack DCP Pinak Mishra. He added that all the arrangements have been inside the stadium for a hassle-free match.
