In his bid to solve neighbour’s family dispute, man loses life in Odisha’s Keonjhar

Keonjhar: In a heart-wrenching incident, a man reportedly died while trying to solve dispute of his neighbour at Salakania village under Nandipada Police limits of Odisha’s Keonjhar.

According to reports, there was a fight between the sons of Ananda Jena due to some unknown reasons. Ananda and his wife reportedly called his neighbour Daitari Patra and his younger brother Ashok to solve the family problem.

However, Ananda’s sons rebuked Daitari and Ashok for intervening in their family matter and attacked them with a sharp weapon. When Ashok’s wife reached the spot after noticing that he was beaten up she went to rescue him. Unfortunately, she was also attacked by Ananda’s sons.

Both Daitari and Ashok were rushed to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack in a critical condition for treatment. However, Daitari passed away this morning.

Meanwhile, a team of police force has been deployed in the village to avoid any untoward incidents. Cops also have arrested four persons for their involvement in the case while five others are still at large.
