In a first, Puri Srimandir gets floral decoration on Rath Yatra

Puri:  For the first time, the Srimandir here in Odisha has been decorated with flowers on the eve of world famous Rath Yatra.

With the approval of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), one KK Sharma, a Delhi-based devotee, has taken charge to decorate the 12th-century shrine.

Sources said, Sharma has also taken responsibility to beautify the Gundicha temple with flowers for the next nine days.

The total cost of flower decoration is reportedly Rs 20 lakh, sources added.
