Important alert for passengers! These trains cancelled till December 25, check details

The Varanasi division of North Eastern Railway is carrying out the doubling work at Gautamsthan station under the Chhapra-Ballia railway section. Due to this, several trains have been reportedly cancelled, routes changed, short terminated/short originated or re-scheduled between December 17 and December 25.

Northeast Railway Spokesperson Pankaj Kumar Singh said that the following trains which are passing through Delhi, Punjab, Gujarat, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh have been cancelled, routes changed and re-scheduled.

List of trains cancelled

  • 15115 Chhapra-Delhi Express running from Chhapra on 18th December will remain cancelled.
  • 15116 Delhi-Chhapra Express running from Delhi on 19th December will remain cancelled.
  • 05135 Chhapra-Audihar unreserved special train running from Chhapra on 25th December will remain cancelled.
  • 05146 Siwan-Chhapra unreserved special train running from Siwan on 25th December will remain cancelled.

List of trains whose routes have been changed

  • 04651 Jaynagar-Amritsar Special train running from Jaynagar on 17th, 19th and 24th December will be diverted from its scheduled route Chhapra-Ballia-Mau via the changed route Chhapra-Bhatni-Mau.
  • 04652 Amritsar-Jayanagar special train running from Amritsar on 17th, 19th, 22nd and 24th December will be diverted from its scheduled route Mau-Ballia-Chhapra via the converted route Mau-Bhatni-Chhapra.
  • 12562 New Delhi-Jayanagar Express running from New Delhi from 16th to 18th December and from 18th to 23rd December will be diverted from the scheduled route Aurihar-Ballia-Chhapra via the converted route Aurihar-Bhatni-Chapra.
  • 19166 Darbhanga-Ahmedabad Express running from Darbhanga on 18th and 25th December will be diverted from its scheduled route Chhapra-Ballia-Mau via the changed route Chhapra-Bhatni-Mau.
  • 19165 Ahmedabad-Darbhanga Express running from Ahmedabad on 22nd December will be diverted from its scheduled route Mau-Ballia-Chhapra via converted route Mau-Bhatni-Chapra.
  • 15232 Gondia-Barauni Express running from Gondia on 21st December will be diverted from its scheduled route Odihar-Ballia-Chhapra via converted route Aurihar-Bhatni-Chapra.
  • Ambedkarnagar Jn. 19305 Dr. Ambedkar Nagar-Kamakhya Express running on 23rd December will be diverted from Odihar-Ballia-Chhapra route instead of its scheduled route via Odihar-Bhatni-Chapra.

Lists of trains controlled

  • 19165 Ahmedabad-Darbhanga Express will run on North Eastern Railway with 50 minutes on 17th and 19th December and 20 minutes on 21st December.
  • 14008 Anand Vihar Terminus – Raxaul Express will run on North Eastern Railway with a controlled timing of 30 minutes on 17 December, 45 minutes on 22 December and 20 minutes on 24 December.
  • 14016 Anand Vihar Terminus – Raxaul Express will run on North Eastern Railway with a control of 25 minutes on 18 December and 80 minutes on 20 December.
  • 12562 New Delhi-Jayanagar Express will run on North Eastern Railway on 25th December with 20 minutes control.

List of trains short Terminate/Short Originated

  • 19045 Surat-Chhapra Express running from Surat from 15th to 24th December will be short terminated at Ballia and this train will remain canceled between Ballia to Chhapra.
  • 19046 Chhapra-Surat Express running from Chhapra from 17th to 25th December will be run from Ballia and this train will remain canceled between Chhapra to Ballia.
  • 13105 Sealdah-Ballia Express running from Sealdah from 16th to 24th December will be short terminated at Chhapra station. This train will remain canceled between Chhapra to Ballia.
  • 13106 Ballia-Sealdah Express running from Ballia to December 17 to 25, 2021 will be run from Chhapra station. This train will remain canceled between Ballia to Chhapra.

List of trains re-scheduled

  • 13138 Azamgarh-Kolkata Express running from Azamgarh on 21st December will be rescheduled for 60 minutes from Azamgarh.
  • 15115 Chhapra-Delhi Express running from Chhapra on 25th December will be rescheduled for 60 minutes from Chhapra.
