Bhubaneswar: The IMD Regional Centre here has predicted rainfall and thunderstorm for at least 11 districts of Odisha till 12.30 PM today.
As per the latest Nowcast of the MeT Department, districts like Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Angul, Cuttack, Khurda, Nayagarh and Puri. are likely to experience moderate thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rainfall at some places from 9.30 AM and 12.30 PM.
As a precautionary measure people in these district have been cautioned against venturing out of their homes and advised to take shelter in safe places during the alerted period to avoid eventuality.
