Bhubaneswar: The IMD Regional Centre here has predicted more rains along with thunderstorm for several districts of Odisha today.
As per the latest bulletin of the MeT department, districts namely Rayagada, Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal and a number of places of coastal Odisha will witness spells of showers along with thunderstorm.
Similarly, places like Kalahandi, Ganjam, Puri, Gajapati, Nabarangpur and Koraput districts will witness moderate rainfall.
Apart from rainfall gusty wind with speed reaching 40-50 will blow at a few places across the State, added the bulletin.
The rain condition in the State will continue till March 12 with Rayagada, Gajapati, Nuapada and Kandhamal expecting showers tomorrow along with Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Sonepur, Bargarh and Sundergarh on March 10.
On March 11 and 12 light to moderate rainfall will lash Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Bolangir, Kandhamal, Angul, Sambalpur, Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sonepur, Boudh, Dhenkanal, Rayagada, Bhadrak, Balasore and Jajpur districts.
A few places in Odisha will experience rain on March 13 and 14.
