Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department’s regional office in Bhubaneswar has predicted light to moderate rain/thundershower and lightening likely to occur over some parts of districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Nabarangapur, and Kandhamal within next three hours.
Reportedly, MeT has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms with lightning for the next three days for several districts of Odisha.
Yellow warning for thunderstorms with lightning is very likely to occur in several places over the districts of Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Malkangiri, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, and Koraput till 8.30 AM of April 17.
Likewise, the weather department has also issued a yellow alert for Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Malkangiri, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Rayagada, and Koraput from 8.30 AM of April 17 till 8.30 AM of April 18.
The warning has further been issued by MeT, Bhubaneswar for Rayagada, , Nabarangpur, Malkangiri and Koraput from 8.30 AM of April 18 till 8.30 AM of April 19.
