Bhubaneswar: The IMD Regional Centre here issued thunderstorm and rain warning for at least 15 districts of Odisha till 10 AM today.
As per the latest IMD Nowcast released this morning, thunderstorm accompanied by moderate spells of rain are likely to occur in districts like Sundergarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Balangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Kandhamal, Bargarh, Nuapada, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh and Kalahandi.
In view of the extreme weather conditions predicted, the IMD has cautioned people in the alerted districts against venturing out of homes and advised them to move to safe places.
