Bhubaneswar: The IMD Regional Centre here has issued thunderstorm and lightning warning for at least three districts of Odisha till 10.45 am today.
As per the latest Nowcast of the MeT department, light thunderstorm, lightning and light to moderate rainfall are likely to occur at one or two places over the districts like Nuapada, Nabarangpur and Kalahandi between 7.45 am and 10.45 am.
As a precautionary measure in the view of the approaching extreme weather conditions, people in the alerted districts have been cautioned against moving out of their homes and advised to stay in safe places.
