Bhubaneswar: With no respite in sight from the rain woes in the State, the Indian Meteorological Centre here has issued a thunderstorm and lightning alert or at least 12 districts today.
As per the latest weather bulletin of the MeT department districts like, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal and Nabrangpur will experience thunderstorm and lighting accompanied by light to moderate rainfall at one or two places between 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
In a precautionary measure people in these districts have been advised to take at safe places during the extreme weather conditions to avoid eventuality.
