Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar has predicted lightning and a brief spell of rain in seven districts of Odisha on Sunday evening.
“ One or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda and Cuttack districts will experience light thundershower and lightning with one or two spells of rainfall between 4:30 PM and 7:30 PM today, said a released issued by the centre.
Weathermen said that a fresh low-pressure area is likely to form over northeast Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood during the next 48 hours and is likely to become more marked subsequently.
