IMD issues heavy rainfall warning for next five days in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: A heavy rainfall warning for the people of Odisha has been issued for the next five days. The Regional Centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here today issued the rainfall warning.

As per the latest bulletin of the weatherman heavy rain to lash the State from July 11 to July 15.

Check the warning details:

DAY-1: VALID UPTO 0830 HRS OF 11.07.2022: (YELLOW WARNING)

  • Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara Jajpur, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar.

DAY-2: VALID FROM 0830 HRS IST OF 11.07.2022 UP TO 0830 HRS IST OF 12.07.2022 (YELLOW WARNING)

  • Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nuapada, Balangir, Bargarh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Angul and Cuttack.

DAY-3: VALID FROM 0830 HR S IST OF 12.07.2022 UP TO 0830 HRS IST OF 13.07.2022: (YELLOW WARNING)

  • Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Gajapati and heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Rayagada, Ganjam, Khurda, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara Jajpur, and Bhadrak.

DAY-4: VALID FROM 0830 HRS IST OF 13.07.2022 UP TO 0830 HRS IST OF 14.07.2022: (YELLOW WARNING)

  • Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh and heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Khurda, Puri, Sonepur and Boudh.

DAY-5: VALID FROM 0830 HRS IST OF 14.07.2022 UP TO 0830 HRS IST OF 15.07.2022 (YELLOW WARNING)

  • Heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Bhadrak and heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the rest districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nawarangpur, Kalahandi.
