IMD Forecasts Nor’Wester Rain In Odisha For 3 Days From March 13

Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorological Department has forecasted Nor’wester rain in several parts of the state for 3 days, starting March 13.

The forecast revealed that Nor’weseter rain will occur at one or two places in Sambalpur, Sundergarh and Bargarh districts of western Odisha on March 13. Besides, rainfall will occur at several places in the state on March 14 and 15.

A Nor’wester warning has been issued for Balasore, Baripada, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Nayagarh districts on March 14 and 15.

Notably, the average day temperature in the state has been increasing significantly since the last few days. On Monday, Malkangiri recorded the highest temperature of 38.5 degree Celsius while the mercury soared to 37 degree Celsius in Balangir, Bhawanipatna and Sonepur.
