Balasore: In a tragic incident, a man hacked his wife and a local youth to death in Ranipatna Bank Colony under Sahadevkhunta police limits here this morning.
The accused identified as Kailash Sahoo, who happens to be the husband of the deceased woman surrendered before police following the incident later.
The murder, which took place early in the morning, came to fore after the accused himself called up police and reported about the matter.
After reaching the spot, police found the deceased duo identified as Laxmipriya Sahoo and Pradip Kumar Dey, killed while lying on bed.
While an extramarital affair is being suspected behind the incident, the bodies have been sent for autopsy by the police.
