Bargarh: Tightening the noose around the necks of illegal arms traders, police busted an illegal gun factory in Bahiapadar village under Barpali police station last night and arrested three persons.
The held accused have been identified as Manabodh Bhue, Jeetu Biswal and Bahadur Pradhan.
The illegal arms business came to fore after a patrolling team of Bargarh Sadar Police came across a suspiciously moving bike late last night near Ekamra Chhak. During a search of the bike, the cops found at least three rifles and two pistols along with some gun making tools and seized those.
After taking the biker into custody and interrogating him, the police raided a house in Bahiapadar village on information provided by him to arrested the rest two and unearth a gun factory.
The held accused have been forwarded to court and an investigation is underway in the incident.
