IAS, IFS Officers Take Up Rope Climbing In Malkangiri Bordering Forest

Malkangiri: Two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officers have shown exemplary courage by taking up rope climbing in Malkangiri bordering forest of Bastar district in Chhattisgarh.

Bastar District Collector Rajat Bansal showed his bravery by taking up adventurous activities like rope climbing and trekking recently.

Inspired by the District Collector, lady IFS and District Forest Officer Staylo Mandavi also took up the challenge and did the adventurous rope climbing near the waterfall which is situated in a dense forest of the district.

It is expected that the unique initiative of the IPS and IFS officers would inspire others to take up such adventurous sports, rope climbing and trekking in the Maoist-prone areas of the State.
