I don’t protest development, Srimandir Heritage Corridor project work must be done in accordance with the law: Puri MLA

Puri: At a time when the Srimandir Heritage Corridor project work is vehemently protested by BJP national spokesperson Samibt Patra and others, Puri MLA Jayant Sarangi, who also belongs to the saffron party, has backed the project saying that he doesn’t protest development but the work must be done in accordance with the law.

The work must be completed at the earliest possible time for the safety of the Srimandir and the convenience of the devotees, said Sarangi.

“Controversy started ever since the beginning of the Srimandir Heritage Corridor project work. People of Puri especially those who are living near the Jagannath Temple have been facing problems due to the ongoing work. Besides, the rainy season is going to begin. Therefore, both the Union Government and State government should work in coordination and complete the project as soon as possible,” he added.
