I-Day Celebration: CM announces for ‘Mo Sarkar’ program from Gandhi Jayanti

Bhubaneswar: In a major move to ensure transparency in the governance in the State, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced to start ‘Mo Sarkar’ initiative at the State-level Independence Day celebration here today.

The new initiative will start on October 2 this year on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.

Informing on the new initiative CM said, as a part of it he along with his ministers would now call common people and get their feedbacks on their experience at police stations and District Headquarters Hospitals (DHHs) across the country.

‘Mo Sarkar’ programme which will run in line with the 5Ts model-Technology, Transparency, Teamwork, Transformation and Time-laid by Naveen for his ministry, cover all police stations and DHHs from October 2 in the first phase. Later all other departments will take up it by March 5, 2020.

“I shall rang you up to take your feedback on the quality of service you get at the police stations and DHHs. My ministers and senior officers at the district level will also call you to take your response,” Naveen announced during his speech.

CM also took up the rural electrification cause in his address and advised the households which are yet to be electrified to apply to the concerned panchayat office immediately for power connectivity. He assured a connection will be provided to them within 48 hours of applying.
