Bhubaneswar: A running vehicle (Hyundai Verna) caught fire couple of hours before, near Janata Maidan in Jayadev Vihar, Bhubaneswar. However, the driver is safe and so far no casualty has been reported. As per reports, owner of the vehicle was driving the Verna and he is safe. A bystander intimated that he noticed some abnormal heating and faint smoke emanation from the engine bay. Within minutes, the Verna’s engine bay was in flames and was almost completely charred and damaged. However, the fire brigade rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
The accident took place at 7. 15 PM today (Tuesday). According to some onlookers, the fire brigade came after half an hour of the accident and till then the vehicle completely burnt.
