Angul: A youth was found buried in the forest by his hunting partners after an accidental death during the spree in Madhupur village under Bantala police limits here on Tuesday.
The deceased, identified as Dushmant Sahoo visited Karatpata forest near Madhupur along with three of his friends some four days ago. However he did not return from the hunting spree and fellow hunters informed the villagers that Dushmant had gone missing in the forest.
After Dushmant’s family members lodged a missing persons case in the incident, Bantala Police carried out an investigation and detained his friends. During their interrogation the three revealed that they buried Dushmant’s body in a hurry after he was electrocuted coming in contact with an electric wire put up inside the forest to trap animals.
Bantala Police arrested the three and recovered the dead body from the forest reaching there along with a scientific team.
