Human skulls stuffed in sack found near Puri hospital

Puri: Patients and staff were left in a state of panic at the Urban Public Health Centre (UPHC) located near station road in Puri Town after at least seven human skulls were found dumped near it under suspicious conditions.

The incident came to fore after some locals spotted it lying at an isolated place on the hospital premise and called up police.

Sea Beach Police reached the spot and seized the skulls which were seen packed in a sack and sent them for test to forensic laboratory.

While it’s still not clear that who under what circumstances threw the skulls near the hospital, Sea Beach Police suspected that these could have been handiwork of either medical staffs or witchcraft practitioners. However, it maintained that everything would come clear after the laboratory test of the skulls are done.
