Puri: A huge whale (timi fish) was found on the beach near Naba village under Krushnaprasad block in the Puri district of Odisha on Thursday afternoon. Reportedly, the whale was spotted by local fishermen.
According to the local fishermen, the huge whale (timi fish) was alive when they spotted and caught it from the beach.
However, the whale could not go back to the sea due to lack of water on the shore. It is being said that the timi fish died by last night.
The huge whale (timi fish) was more than 40 feet long and was around 20 feet wide weighing more than 20 tonnes.
The crowds of people rushed to the scene to witness the huge whale on the beach.
