Keonjhar: The Patna Excise Department on Friday seized huge quantities of fake foreign liquor from Dumuria village in Keonjhar district and arrested one person in this connection.
The arrested accused has been identified as Shiv Charan Mahanta of the village.
Acting on a tip-off, the team of Sub Inspector (SI) of Patna Excise Department Dilip Kumar Thandi conducted a raid at a broiler chicken centre in the village while he was involved in a dealing.
The cops have seized 17 litres 820 ml of foreign liquor and 12 litres 350 ml of beer from his possession.
