Huge King Cobra Rescued In Odisha

Berhampur: A 10-feet long King Cobra was rescued in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Sunday. The snake was rescued in Jayantipur village of the district.

According to reports, one Hrushikesh Panigrahi noticed the King Cobra in the backyard of his house and alerted the villagers.

On being informed by some locals, Samantiapalli Forest Range officer Rajat Mishra directed the forest guards to visit the village and rescue the snake.

When the forest officials reached the village they found the snake rushing towards a canal behind Panigrahi’s house. However, Forest employee Jitendra Das managed to catch the snake.

Later, the King Cobra was successfully released into the nearby forest.
