Malkangiri: BSF Jawans seized 5kgs of unexploded landmine and other items used by the Maoists from Handikhal forest near Gorasetu in Chitrakonda block of Malkangiri district.
The items recovered were maoist clothing, polythene, multimeter, walkie-talkie, and among others
According to reliable sources, the local BSF launched a search operation in the Handikhal forest near Panasput panchayat and Gorasetu.
The landmine had been hidden in a huge drum, the estimated weight of the explosives will be around 5 kgs. The BSF jawans seized the item.
