House Of Woman Teacher Raided By Vigilance In Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths today conducted raids at three places including the residential house of a government teacher on charges of amassing assets disproportionate to her known source of income.   

Vigilance sleuths so far have traced movable and immovable properties worth crores of the assistant teacher identified Tilottama Mohanty. Vigilance officials said that the woman teacher is posted at CT School at Unit-6 in the state capital while her husband is a LIC agent.

Vigilance sleuths so far have traced nine plots, two residential buildings and assets worth over Rs 1 crore in possession of the woman teacher. 

“The simultaneous searches were conducted on the basis of a court warrant and further investigation in the case is continuing. We are ascertaining the actual income of the officials,” said a vigilance official. He also said that the income of the teacher would be calculated to ascertain the gap between the cost of assets and actual income.
