Here are the trains resumed, cancelled & rescheduled due to cyclone Titli

Bhubaneswar: The Indian Railways has decided to run some of the trains on normal path/route which were earlier declared as cancelled and/or diverted as the situation caused by very severe cyclone Titli has improved.

Resumption of Train Services:

12703 Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma from Howrah on 11.10.2018.

12839 Howrah- Chennai Mail from Howrah on 10.10.2018 (left Howrah at 1020hrs on 11.10.2018).

12660 Shalimar-Nagercoil Gurudev Express from Shalimar on 10.10.2018 (left Howrah at 1040hrs on 11.10.2018).

12841 Howrah-Chennai Coromondal Express from Howrah on 11.10.2018.

12663 Howrah-Tiruchirapalli Express from Howrah on 11.10.2018.

12552 Kamakhya-Yesvantpur AC Express from Kamakhya on 10.10.2018.

Rescheduling:

22603 Kharagpur-Villupuram Express from Kharagpur on 11.10.2018 will leave at 1805hrs instead of 1405hrs.

18646 Hyderabad-Howrah East Coast Express from Hyderabad on 11.10.2018 will leave at 1200hrs instead of 0950hrs.

18409 Howrah-Puri Jagannath Express from Howrah will leave at 0130hrs tonight instead of 1900hrs, today.

12277 Howrah-Puri Shatabdi Express from Howrah will leave at 1745hrs instead of 1425hrs.

18426 Durg-Puri Express from Durg will leave at 0210hrs tonight instead of 1610hrs

Train services on 11.10.2018 have been reviewed and decision taken as per ground circumstances. Railway Teams including Track Specialists, Bridge Engineers, Over Head Electricity Engineers, had gone to do a detailed study of impact of cyclone Titli between Brahmapur-Palasa and Palasa-Kottabomali.

They could not enter the area at about 10.00a.m., today as strong winds and heavy rains obstructed their movements.

Reports of Damages:

Damages to Station Buildings at various places with major damages at Palasa Station.

Platform Shelters and Foot Over Bridges (FOBs) covers damaged at various places.

Signalling Pole and Over Head Electric Masts have been damaged at some places between Palasa and Kottabomali Stations.

Electricity feed to Over Head Electric not holding at various place between Brahmapur and Kottabomali.

A number of incidents of trees fallen on track have been reported from various places.
