Heavy rainfall likely over Odisha, Yellow warning issued 

Bhubaneswar:  The Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar on Sunday warned of another spell of heavy rain in several places of Odisha till tomorrow morning.

According to the mid-day weather bulletin of the MeT Department, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Boudh, Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj till 8.30 AM on Monday.

It also said, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, Rayagada, Dhenkanal Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sonepur, Boudh, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Nuapada, Koraput and Balangir till 8.30 AM on Monday.

The MeT Department also issued a Yellow weather warning for all these districts during the period.

Meanwhile, light to moderate rainfall has occurred at many places over the districts of North Odisha and at a few paces over the districts of South Odisha with heavy rainfall at one or two places over the districts of Angul and Nuapada in the State in last 24 hours.
