Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday forecasted heavy rainfall in some districts of Odisha between August 25 and 27.
The weather department said that heavy rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur between 8.30 AM of August 25 and 8.30 AM of August 26.
Likewise, thunderstorms with lightning are very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and Dhenkanal.
The IMD further said that heavy rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Kendrapara, Cuttack and Jagatsinghpur from 8.30 AM of August 26 to 8.30 AM of August 27.
Similarly, thunderstorms with lightning are very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Angul, Dhenkanal and Deogarh.
