Heat wave grips Subarnapur, Puts life out of gear

Subarnapur: Severe heat wave conditions in the district has put life out of gear with temperatures staying at a minimum of 41 degrees. Subarnapur became the hottest town of the state with the temperature soaring to 43.03 on Thursday.

The Regional Weather Department has issued a heat wave warning across several parts of the state. Denizens have been asked to stay indoors post 10 am and not step out unless urgent.

And if one needs to step out then it is advised to carry wet cloth, umbrella, shoes, and water bottle.

The roads have taken a deserted look due to the punishing summer.
