Heat wave conditions to continue across Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Heat wave conditions are expected to continue across several places in the state, informed Odisha Disaster State Disaster Management Authority.

A yellow warning has been issued for 28 places and Red warning has been issued for 56 places across 8 districts of Angul, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Gajapati, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, and Jajpur.

The places with a yellow warning will touch 41, while temperatures in areas with red warning are set to soar to 43.

Met department officials informed that the heat wave conditions are expected to continue for the next five days. The residents have been advised to avoid the sun when at its peak and take all possible precautions to avoid heatstroke.
