Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Department (MeT) has sounded a heatwave alert for parts of Odisha till Tuesday (April 27) morning.
The yellow warning issued on Sunday afternoon by the MeT department of Bhubaneswar predicts heatwave conditions which is likely to occur at few places over the districts of Nayagarh, Khordha and Cuttack

As many as 10 places in the state recorded temperature above 40 degree Celsius while the State capital city Bhubaneswar recorded maximum temperature of 42.1 degree Celsius.
