Talcher: Headless body of a man was today found from a well in Balipashi village under Rengali police station limits in Angul district.
The victim has been identified as Duryodhan Tung. As per reports, Tung had left his house on Wednesday night and did not return.
The family members of Tung searched for him in the village and outskirts but failed to trace him. However, locals spotted his body with multiple injuries in the well. Police have started an investigation after the wife of the deceased filed a police complaint.
“We are trying to recover the head of the body. Prima-facie it appears as a case of revenge killing,” said a police official.
