Bhadrak: In a shocking incident, a body was found hanging today in Bachhada Padi Sahi under Jagannathpur panchayat, Basudebpur block in Bhadrak district.
This morning, as some villagers were fishing, they noticed the hanging body in the backyard of one Sukant Mallick.
The locals later informed Sukant and he, in turn, informed the Basudebpur police. Crowds gathered at the scene to witness the dead body.
The deceased has been identified as Ratikanta Nayak, son of Narayan Nayak of Uhad village in Nuagaon panchayat.
However, a murder is suspected. Further probe is underway in this matter. Details are awaited.
