Khordha: Curiosity prevailed in Saranai village near National Highway in Khordha today after half-burnt body of a woman was found from a garden today.
The incident came to light after some locals came across the body early in the morning and called up police.
Later police rushed to the spot and seized the body for autopsy after completing the preliminary investigation with the help of scientific team.
While efforts are underway by police to ascertain the identity of the deceased, locals have claimed that she had been killed somewhere else by miscreants and brought to the village to be burnt.
