Jajpur: A youth, popularly known as the Gym Boy in Jarka area, was killed in a road accident on the National Highway in Jaraka. The deceased has been identified as Aditya Verma of Jarka.
As per reports, the accident took place on the NH 16 near Jarka chowk in Jajpur on Friday. Aditya was hit by a speeding truck when he was trying to cross the road on his bike.
Soon after the accident locals rushed him to Dharmasala Hospital where the doctors declared him ‘brought dead’.
After getting information, Dharmasala Police reached the accident spot and seized the truck that had hit bike of the deceased. A case has been launched in this regard and investigation has been started.
