Dhenkanal: As many as six people have sustained injuries in a group clash over Marthapur sand ghat in Yamunakot village under Bhuban police limits in Kamakhyanagar of Dhenkanal district.
Reportedly, four to five men of a group attacked its rivalry group with sharped weapons during the clash. All the injured people, identified as Sanjit Barik of the village, his father Sarbeshwar Barik and Shiba Prasad Barik, were rushed to Bhuban hospital for immediate medical treatment.
Following this, people of the rivalry group, in a fit of rage, also attacked back and three people sustained injuries. They have been identified as Pratap Behera, Rajiv Lochan Behera, Nrusingha Samal. Among them, Pratap has sustained critical injuries.
On getting the information regarding the clash, local police arrived at the spot and collecting more information into the matter.
