Goods Train Derails In Odisha, Rail Services Affected

Bhubaneswar: Two wagons of a goods train derailed between Balugaon and Chilika Stations in Odisha, informed an East Coast Railway (ECoR) official. Normal train services on the up line were affected due to the train mishap.

The incident happened at around 12.40 PM while the Dolomite-laden goods train, travelling from Talcher (Odisha) to Visakhapatnam, reached at Badkul near Balugaon.

The official said, 25th and 26th wagons from the rear side of the train got affected in the mishap. No one was injured in the accident.

The safety officers of engineering and mechanical branches would reach the spot and restore the track as soon as possible, the official added.
