Goods Train Carrying Iron-Ore Powder Derails In Odisha

Koraput: A goods train carrying iron ore powder derailed near Manbar station between Koraput and Jeypore stations late on Monday night.

Sources said, 12 wagons of the goods train got derailed at around 12 midnight. The train was heading towards Visakhapatnam from Kirandul in Chattisgarh.

No case of injury or death has been reported so far.

The railway officials have rushed to the spot and have started their restoration work to clear the track.
