Cuttack: The Lalbagh police has cracked down on the gang of four members who were operating a gold looting gang in Cuttack city and its periphery.
The lady kingpin has been arrested. 18 grams of gold, 13,000 rupees, one bike, one scooter and mobile phones have been seized.
The looters had mortgaged their loot with various gold lenders such as Muthoot, Manapuram, etc.
The gang members were making money on these gold loans. There are already six cases pending against lady kingpin.
