Bhubaneswar: One looter has been caught for snatching a a gold chain at Sahid Nagar area in capital city of Odisha on Friday.
Reportedly, two looters snatched a gold chain from a person in broad daylight at Sahid Nagar area in Bhubaneswar following which both of them attempted to escape from the spot.
However, one among the looters was caught by the locals and was thrashed on the spot.
Meanwhile, another looter managed to flee from the spot. The locals immediately informed to the Sahid Nagar police station.
On getting the information, the cops arrived at the spot and arrested the looter. The cops have initiated a manhunt to trace the escaped looter.
