Berhampur: In a bizarre development a girl student of a private school was allegedly asked to remove her clothes by her teacher in Ganjam district of Odisha. The girl was asked to strip as she had not worn the school uniform.
As per reports, the incident took place at the KC Public School in Berhampur. She was asked to remove her clothes in the class room in front of all other students. After her class was over, when she was returning home her parents found that she had not worn the pant.
After knowing about the incident the girl’s father enquired about it to the teachers of the school. Parents of some other students also went to the school and expressed their dissatisfaction over such an unfortunate incident. Accordingly, tension gripped at the school. Acting upon the complain, the headmaster called for the said teacher and enquired about it.
After getting information about the happening Baidyanathpur Police reached the school and started a probe. Police have detained the teacher and her interrogation is going on.
The parents have condemned the incident and demanded stringent action against the teacher. However, the headmaster of the school has taken the case lightly.
