Jajpur: In yet another shameful incident, a girl was allegedly gang-raped by two men at Sukinda in Jajpur district on Wednesday.
According to a complaint filed by the victim’s father, the girl was sitting at her shop when one of the men dragged her inside a four-wheeler and raped her in the vehicle.
He later took her to the house of another youth where the duo took turns to rape the girl, who was thrashed brutally when she tried to prevent them.
After committing the crime, the duo abandoned the girl outside her house.
The matter came to light when the victim narrated her ordeal to family members, who later lodged a police complaint.
Meanwhile, the police have registered a case against the accused men. A manhunt has also been launched to nab them.
