Bhanjanagar: Vigilance sleuths on Saturday conducted raids on the property of Ghumusar South Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Bijay Ketan Acharya for allegedly amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to sources, Berhampur division Vigilance officers conducted simultaneous searches at Acharya’s government quarter and office at Bhanjanagar in Ganjam district, his ancestral house at Andarpur in Cuttack, Patia and Sahid Nagar areas in Bhubaneswar.
The vigilance sleuths have seized important documents from his possession.
The raid by the anti-corruption officials was underway till the report was filed.
