Bhubaneswar: The Health Services Director of Odisha, Bijay Mohapatra on Friday shared a news of relief for people of the state relating to covid.
Mohapatra said that, Odisha is showing a downtrend in the number of daily Covid cases since two days.
He nevertheless cautioned people that, this cannot be termed as peak or plateau.
He urged the people of Odisha to get tested if they develop any symptoms.
Bijay Mohapatra further added that, 80-90% of patients on ventilator support have less chances of survival.
It is noteworthy that, there is no data on emergence of new variant. It depends on the mutation of the virus said the Health Services Director.
