Nayagarh: The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) sleuths seized a huge quantity of ganja worth around Rs 1.5 crore from a truck in Odisha’s Nayagarh district late on Friday night.
The ganja was being smuggled from Koraput in a woodladen truck, an Official.
On a tip off, DRI sleuths from Bhubaneswar intercepted a truck bearing Regd No: OR 11 E 8199 near Banigochha on NH-57 in the district and recovered as many as 40 bags of contraband ganja from the wood laden vehicle.
The officials seized the Ganja packets and detained the concerned truck driver.
