Koraput: The Padua police on Saturday seized 9 Quintal 18 kg 200 grams of ganja worth 90 lakhs near Khuda village road in Koraput district of Odisha.
According to reports, police seized the Cannabis while it was being transported to the neighboring state Andra Pradesh. However, the police failed to catch the ganja smugglers and traders as they fled from the scene after spotting them.
The police seized 9 Quintal 18 kg 200 grams of ganja, which are stored in a total of 37 sacks.
The absconded ganja smugglers will be arrested soon, informed Nandapur SDPO Sanjay Mohapatra.
